HOMEMADE JAM

On our small patch of land has many fruit trees: apples, pears, plums and two kinds of cherries, and even a lot of elder elderly quince. The wild blackberry is gradually replaced by friendly, thornless varieties and in 2006 we planted a tree mirabelles.
We have different kinds of berries, raspberries and strawberries planted, so that gives more fruit each year, too many to keep for ourselves. We can not bear to leave all the delicious and let decay, so as many fruits are picked and processed as soon as it is ripe, the rest is for the birds.
For several years there is from May to October a small stall with jam jars (and sour pickles from the local organic farmers) for the house. Naturally unsprayed and without addition of preservatives.
We now have regular customers who come specifically for the exciting new combinations or just for the pure fruit flavors.

Of course, guests homemade jam at breakfast own harvest!

Often it back on the terrace of La Vie en Rose is covered so you can sit outside enjoying the last sun or cool of the evening.
It is served with a carafe of white wine, rosé and red wine or a carafe of water and of course ends with a cup of coffee or tea.

We would like to take several days in advance whether this service is used and what needs you have, so that we can make allowance buying.
